Dinosaur Chess is a good option to learn and play chess on a friendly interface.
You can begin by creating an independent profile to keep record of your progress. In the main menu you can open lessons, play a game, watch your progress, or begin a dino fight.

With the lessons, you can learn how to play with each piece, the values of the pieces, and some hints and tips.

To play a game, you must first choose a dinosaur opponent. There are six different opponents, each one with a different difficulty level. But first, you should beat the dinosaur of the first level to unlock the dinosaur of the second level and so on. You can change the aspect of the pieces and the chess board, undo a move, hint a move or view the pieces which have been taken during a game.

In the progress option you can see the progress of the lessons taken, the fights won, the pieces taken, and the dinosaurs beaten.

The dino fight is an extra option that allows kids to understand the level of difficulty. You have to choose a dinosaur opponent, approach it, and use the fight buttons to beat the dinosaur.
